The original feature-length animated film "I Want to Eat Your Pancreas" (English title: I Want to Eat Your Pancreas), produced by CRAFTAR and Craftar Studio, has been selected for the Feature Competition section of the Annecy International Animated Film Festival 2019! Congratulations to all involved. We would also like to express our gratitude to everyone who supported this project.

I never imagined being nominated for such a historic competition, so I am truly surprised. I’m genuinely happy that the efforts of the production team have been recognized. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who was involved and to all those who have watched the film.
STORY
Since losing his mother at a young age, Shin has been somewhat closed off emotionally. His childhood friend, Kotori, has always been by his side, watching over him. Now, in their third year of high school, just when they were about to take the first step forward, suddenly,

The director and screenwriter of this work is Yuhei Sakuragi, who belongs to Craftar Studio. He first gained recognition as part of the CG staff for Shunji Iwai's "The Case of Hana & Alice" and Hayao Miyazaki's "Boro the Caterpilla", and made his directorial debut with "Neon Genesis IMPACTS" from the Japan Anima(tor)'s Exhibition. He also directed his first TV series with the anime "Ingress".
